Agustín Prada
Founder & CEO
Grew up bilingual in Medellín, Colombia, surrounded by talented people who just needed the right door to open.
Got his first real break at a Colombian outsourcing company where he learned to code, sell, and operate all at the same time. That hands-on experience taught him what US companies actually need, and what LATAM professionals are truly capable of.
Moved to the US on a work visa and spent years building products and teams at the intersection of both worlds. He saw the gap up close: brilliant engineers in Latin America earning a fraction of what their US counterparts made, and US companies paying a premium for talent that was harder to find and slower to hire.
Surlink is his answer to that gap, a platform built from lived experience, not theory.

Alejandro Ascanio
Co-Founder & Head of Sales
Grew up bilingual in Caracas, Venezuela, moving between Latin America and the United States from an early age. That upbringing gave him a deep understanding of both cultures and a natural ability to connect people across borders.
Spent the early part of his career in sales and business development across Latin America, building and leading commercial teams in Venezuela, Colombia, and Mexico. He learned firsthand what it takes to recruit, manage, and retain top performers in the region - and how different the talent landscape looks compared to the US market.
Before co-founding Surlink, Alejandro led sales operations for a regional consulting firm, where he worked directly with US companies looking to expand their teams into Latin America. He saw how broken and opaque the process was - and how much value was being left on the table by both sides.
At Surlink, Alejandro leads the sales and growth function, bringing an operations-first mindset to every client relationship. His goal is simple: make nearshore hiring feel as easy and trustworthy as hiring locally.
